Fire Safety

Extra Care Elsdon in Elsdon (United Kingdom) with Rockpanel Colours and Rockpanel Woods FS-Xtra facade cladding

A fire can have a major impact. It does not only have a direct influence on those living or working in buildings involved, but can also have a massive effect on a community. Safety therefore is our number one priority.

Aim to be fireproof. Just to be sure.

Non-combustible by nature

As an architect and planner, you want future generations to enjoy using your buildings. Because they are timeless. And because they are built so solidly and securely, they should protect the people who live and work in them at all times.

Fire safety in accordance with international standards is therefore crucial. These standards are constantly becoming more and more demanding – for good reasons. At Rockpanel, we have developed facade solutions with excellent fire behaviour, which comply with the strict rules of the current European directives. Our boards are available in Euroclass A2-s1.d0, contain hardly any combustible materials and are free of fire-retardant additives.

No burning droplets

Because our panels are made of stone wool, they can withstand particularly high temperatures. They have been tested extensively and are classified as flame resistant building materials according to the relevant fire protection standards. In the event of a fire, Rockpanel facade panels do not cause the fire to spread because no combustible parts can peel or drop off.
