All our Rockpanel products are supplied with a water-based coating as standard. The coating offers very good UV resistance so that the colour is preserved for a long time. It is however recommended that the boards be cleaned occasionally with a cleaning solution such as car shampoo or an all-purpose cleaner. We advise against the use of solvents.
On top of the basic colour coating the boards can also have an extra protective layer applied – ProtectPlus. This gives additional protection against UV light and graffiti. Plus, most of the atmospheric dirt is simply washed away by rain water. The ProtectPlus coating is solvent resistant to most cleaning agents.
