Low maintenance and UV-resistant
Rockpanel Colours facade panels combine the advantages of stone and wood. Like stone, they are weather and temperature resistant, low-maintenance and fire-proof. Like wood, they are easy and flexible to cut on site with standard tools. Thanks to their low weight, they are pleasantly light and can be quickly processed by a single installer if necessary. Special treatment of the edges is not necessary as they are resistant to moisture by nature. If desired for aesthetic reasons, visible cut and trimming edges can be painted in the same colour as the panel surface. The panels are fastened to a wooden sub construction with screws in the colour as the facade panels.
A sustainable solution for creative minds
The colour variety of the Rockpanel Colours series creates room for creative play with high-contrast designs. Almost all RAL colours are available, but also special colours according to customer requirements. Even if there are very dark colours used, this does not lead to problems that experts know from plaster facades. In summer, dark surfaces heat up much more than light ones. If plaster facades are painted anthracite, for example, this can lead to cracks in the long run. In addition, strong colours fade more quickly in the sun. Repainting is therefore due after ten years at the latest. A building designed with Rockpanel Colours retains its original appearance in the long term. The ventilated facade construction prevents all problems that could arise from heated facade surfaces.
