What is tongue and groove cladding?
Tongue and groove cladding boards fit perfectly together on the long edges, creating an almost flat surface. You can compare it to the way floorboards work: each panel has a slot (groove) cut on one side and a thin ridge (tongue) on the opposite side. This way, the boards fit together closely.
Why should you use tongue and groove cladding?
There are many applications you can use tongue and groove cladding for. For example, you can think of ceilings and gutters and larger facade surfaces such as dormers and entrances. Of course, you can also use this board material to cover a complete facade as well. Wherever you will use them: they always provide a modern, uniform and clean look which will upgrade any house.

A big advantage of Rockpanel Lines2 compared to timber tongue and groove cladding is that repainting is not needed. With timber, it’s also virtually impossible to create a nice dark-coloured tongue and groove cladding, as it shrinks and expands. With Rockpanel Lines2, you can have dark gray/black tongue and groove facade panels. The reaction to fire classification is also much better for Rockpanel cladding compared to timber, as it is made from naturally fire resilient stone wool fibres.
